The first day included games and educational lectures under the title “Social cohesion and development of humanity”, which were facilitated by trainer Mariam Bahjat.

The second day began with a workshop on traditional dances, followed by a lecture by Mariam Bahjat on how to turn the negative energy in your life into positive energy. The day ended with a visit by Mr. Alen Tapsima, the secretary of khoyada, along with Robert Nawzad, head of khoyada’s Duhok branch.

On the third day, khoyada held a celebration of the Nusardil festival, with the locals in Nahla, at the Nahla tourist resort. The celebration involved traditional dances, poems and songs, including Assyrian “Raweh”.

khoyada wishes to extend a special thanks to the people of Nahla, the Assyrian Women’s Union, and Shlama Foundation for their support and cooperation which made this camp a success.
